About Ali jabaly.

Ali Jabaly is a Palestinian artist currently living in Norway. He was born and raised in Gaza City, where he studied interior design. As a professional painter, he specializes in portraits, fine art, illustration, and digital painting. 

Ali has held several art exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Notable exhibitions include “Internal Shadow” at Kunstplass Contemporary Art in Oslo in 2020 and “Dreamers Among the Rubble,” an open-air exhibition in Gaza in 2019.

Through his art, Ali breaks boundaries by using colour and mural painting to express his emotions. He has created numerous mural paintings and artworks, including his latest piece, “In Love with Cactus,” a 22×12 meter mural tribute to his beloved city of Gaza. 

Ali holds a BA in Moving Images from Nordland Film & Art College in Northern Norway and a Master’s degree in Fine Art from Trondheim Academy of Art. 

Despite the challenging circumstances, the artist from Gaza has managed to continue his work. Ali has preserved his creative voice and reminds us that art, too, is an important form of resistance. Through art, we remember, come together, and stand united.
